Like "Young and Hungry."
Well a number a reviewers don't seem to like this show. So that's all they need to say.
But reviewer's are in business to generate sales for the paper so they all try to be clever. It makes no difference whether they like it or hate it; they want people to read their reviews for the entertainment value of the review, not for the info it contains.
A reviewer answered an email of mine stating it is hard to write a middle of the road review - gushing or flaming is much easier to do. It seems that if the rate it at 90 out of a hundred it gets raves but to avoid the middle review, if it's 89 or less, they flame it. Another word for reviewer is critic and that implies the negative and away they go. Google "Young and Hungry" reviews and see what comes up.
As for me, I love it. There is no life or death drama, no chalk outlines of dead bodies and the letters CIS or NCIS do not appear in the title, no vampires, no werewolves. It's funny. I watch it. I feel good after watching it - I am not depressed for days.
Seem like a winning formula to me.
